Heparin Tube (Separator Gel)
These Golden Vac™ heparin tubes contain a polymer separation gel and spray-dried heparin additive, used for drawing heparinized plasma or whole blood for emergency biochemical and hemorheological tests.
The Golden Vac™ heparin tubes with separator gel are designed for drawing heparinized plasma or whole blood. They contain a polymer separation gel and spray-dried heparin additive. The anticoagulant heparin activates antithrombin, blocking the clotting cascade, and produces a whole blood or plasma sample. Lithium heparin ensures no interference with ion detection, including sodium ions. The separation gel prevents contamination by isolating the plasma from blood cells during centrifugation. After blood draw, gently invert the tube 8-10 times to ensure proper anticoagulant activation. Centrifugation should be performed at 1800-2200g for 8-15 minutes at 18-25°C. All tubes are supplied in quantities of 1000 or 1200 pcs/ctn.
