Heparin Tube
Golden Vac™ heparin tube is used for drawing heparinized plasma or whole blood for emergency biochemical and hemorheological tests.
The Golden Vac™ heparin tube is specifically designed for drawing heparinized plasma or whole blood, making it essential for emergency biochemical and hemorheological testing. Available in both lithium heparin and sodium heparin, the anticoagulant heparin activates antithrombin, blocking the clotting cascade and producing a whole blood/plasma sample. Notably, lithium heparin does not interfere with ion detection during testing, including sodium ion. After drawing the blood, it is important to gently invert the tube 8-10 times to ensure adequate mixing of the anticoagulant. Centrifugation should be performed at <1300 g (RCF) for 10 minutes at a temperature of 18-25°C.
