The Golden Vac™ glucose tube is designed to obtain highly stable plasma for blood glucose testing. It contains Sodium Fluoride, which acts as an inhibitor of glucose degradation, ensuring accurate results. Additionally, Potassium Oxalate, EDTA Na2, and Heparin Sodium are included to prevent blood coagulation and avoid hemolysis. After drawing blood, gently invert the tube 8-10 times to activate the anticoagulants effectively. Centrifugation should be performed at less than 1300 g (RCF) for 10 minutes at 18-25°C.
