$1.00

The ESR Tube is specifically designed for the manual determination of erythrocyte sedimentation rates (ESR) using an ESR stand. It contains sodium citrate at a concentration of 0.129 mol/L (3.8%) as an anticoagulant to prevent blood from clotting. The tube is filled with a buffered sodium citrate solution, ensuring a blood-to-additive ratio of 4:1. After filling, the tube must be inverted 8-10 times to ensure proper mixing and anticoagulation of the specimen. These tubes are available in packs of 1000 or 1200.
